Joseph G. Mirci
Dr. Mirci enjoys the outdoors (hiking, canyoneering, four-wheeling, dirt bike riding and fishing (which he would like to do more of). He has also taught and mentored students, for 29 years at the University of Utah, who want to become dentists.
Dr. Mirci has also been involved in community service his entire career, working with organizations to help provide services to those in need.
Dr. Mirci has always been a student of dentistry. He has taken thousands of hours of continuing education. Dr. Mirci is one of the few dentists in North America who has earned the Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition Award through the Academy of General Dentistry for the third time.
A particular pleasure is spending time with his wife of over 40 years, Bonnie, and his five grown children and nine grandchildren.

Daniel D. Mirci
Dr. Dan Mirci was born in Youngstown Ohio and lived there for about six months before his family moved to Utah. He grew up hiking, fishing and riding ATV’s. Along with riding ATV’s He had plenty of opportunities to do maintenance and repair on them. Dr. Dan found that he thoroughly enjoys working with his hands and getting the satisfaction of restoring mechanical machines.
RDH – Hygiene
Aminda was raised in Evanston Wyoming where she graduated from Evanston High School in 2000. Before pursuing her dental career, Aminda graduated with an Associate of Science degree in general studies, became a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), and a mother. In 2006 Aminda was trained as a dental assistant where she assisted for 2 years before pursuing her education in dental hygiene. She was accepted into the dental hygiene program at Salt Lake Community College where she graduated with honors. Aminda loves the dental field and enjoys getting to know each of her patients. She takes pride in her work and aims to make every patient feel as comfortable as possible. Aminda enjoys spending time with her family and friends, baking sweets, travelling, camping, and dancing.
Brooke graduated from the University of Maryland in 2006 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Dental Hygiene. She enjoys skiing, entertaining friends and spending time with her husband, Jake and their dog, Stella. Brooke has been working with Dr. Mirci since relocating to Utah in 2007.
Janna graduated from Idaho State University with a BS in dental hygiene. Although she didn’t move to Salt Lake until 2004 when she began working with Dr. Mirci, she had been involved in dentistry for more than 8 years when she started in this office. Janna loves her job. Even though some days have a routine and rhythm, she never has the same day twice because of the wonderful people she works with and the fantastic people she gets to meet.
When she’s not working hard at the office, Janna can be found spending most of her time with her family, especially her 15 nieces and nephews. She doesn’t mind yardwork (and she gets plenty of it!), but her favorite days are spent in a pair of waders on a river. According to her, the fish you catch in Utah are the fish you use for bait in Idaho, and as such, she chooses to spend time in Idaho with her dad who is still her favorite fishing buddy.
Amy has lived in Salt Lake City for 20 years, a transplant from Arizona. She has been working in the dental field for over 30 years. When not at work, you will find Amy either golfing, working in the yard, or attending her youngest daughter’s dance performances. She loves cooking and spending time with her four kids and one grandson.
April grew up in Oceanside, California, with her mom, dad, and brother. She enjoys painting, and arts and crafts, as well as spending time with her energetic two-year-old daughter, Gabriella. She just recently moved to Salt Lake City after having traveled all over the country, so when not at work, she spends time exploring the Salt Lake City area with Gabriella. Her family and faith are the most important things in April’s life.
Megan was born and raised in West Jordan, UT. She has been working in the dental field for 16 years. She is the proud mom of a son named Kody, who was born in August of 2003. She enjoys singing, dancing, movies, and spending time with her family and friends.
Ashlynn loves the outdoors such as biking, boating, camping, snowboarding, four-wheeling, and much more. Her favorite food is Mexican…she loves anything hot and spicy! She loves animals and has two dogs who she adores. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and going out. She likes to read and watch anything drama-based. The thrill keeps her on her toes!
Amanda is from the Salt Lake area, born and raised. She has been dental assisting since 2015 and recently took on a part-time job at a local dental assisting school. She graduated with an associate’s degree from Salt Lake Community College. When she has spare time, she likes to watch movies and spend time with her boyfriend, Mike, and puppy, Daisy.
Dee is from the Dominican Republic where she studied in dental school, dental assisting school, first aid and pharmacy. She served in the police and fire departments also. She loves being on the beach, being with family, and helping those in need. Dee recently moved to Utah to marry her wonderful husband. She enjoys reading, and dentistry is her passion.
Blake grew up in Salt Lake and moved to Logan after high school to attend Utah State University. After two years at USU he transferred to the University of Utah where he is currently studying Biology. After graduation, he plans to attend dental school.
Chelsea has a beautiful little girl and they love to be outdoors on walks or at the park. She enjoys yoga and meditating, and also drinking tea – it’s a big part of her life. She has lived in Utah her whole life and graduated from Hunter High School in West Valley City. She graduated from a dental assisting program through Genesis Dental and loved her education. She also loves animals of all kinds – currently having two dogs and 2 cats.
Whitney was born and raised in Washington. During a summer in high school, she was trained by a dentist and worked as a dental assistant. She received her AS from Ricks College in Idaho. After college, she got married and moved to Minnesota, living there for 13 years. She has 2 daughters and a son who live there. She moved to Utah a few years ago and became certified as a dental assistant, working as a dental assistant since then. She loves Zumba, ballroom dancing, hiking, watching good movies, and spending time with family and friends.
